San Francisco Airport Review

San Francisco Airport Review

My round trip flight from Toronto to Singapore had a transit in San Francisco. On the way to Singapore I had no issues going through security and even had some time to spend in the United Lounge . The United Lounge has good white wine . Only one type but decent. Food is blah but that is typical of most airport lounges . On my way back from Singapore I had the most horrible experience of any airport I have…

Toronto Pizza

Toronto Pizza

North Of Brooklyn Pizzeria I had a chance to visit North Of Brooklyn Pizzeria this week . Based on the decor and setup I had high hopes for the Pizza and it turned out to be a disappointment. If you are going there for Pizza – skip it . It is nothing special. The decor and vibe is good if you are looking for a night out drinking ! I am still looking for a good pizza spot in Toronto!

Corning New York – Watkins Glen State Park Gorge Trail

Corning New York – Watkins Glen State Park Gorge Trail

I have family living in upstate New York . Specifically Corning, New York . We decided to visit them one weekend from Toronto. I was blown away by how picturesque and well maintained the town is ! The buildings are old and well maintained, the surrounding areas are hillsides with trees, there are many good food options and incredible hiking trails ! My family also made incredible meals for us – sourcing from the best places they have identified! We…

Panama City – Attractions

Panama City – Attractions

Until I had to visit Panama I didn’t realize the city had so many things to do ! My recommendations: 1. Visit Casco Viejo – This was my favourite place in the city ! This is where the city of Panama was located prior to its current location. The area consist of buildings close together with narrow streets . Very similar to Gothic Quarter in Barcelona . The architecture is similar to the buildings in New Orleans. It is full…

Visiting Algonquin Park , Ontario Canada For Fall Colours

Visiting Algonquin Park , Ontario Canada For Fall Colours

I live in Canada and have never been to Algonquin Park! Decided this fall I am going to drop by to see the leaves changing colour . I have read the best time to see the colours is late September and early October. The trees at the park change colour a bit earlier since the park is at a higher elevation. This weekend should be a great time to visit . Check out this site to figure out the best…

Panama Canal

Panama Canal

I visited the Panama Canal at the Miraflores locks when it opened at 8 am on a Sunday. I was there by 8.30 am and was really sad to discover I just missed 3 ships that passed through the locks. The next ship set to pass through was at 1 pm . I had other places to visit so I looked around , visited the interactive museum and watched a movie about the canal before leaving. MUST DO : Call…

Daily Trading Analysis – September 25 , 2018

Yesterday my commodity shares had a jump . Both Lithium and copper . I am going to be holding these positions to analyze if this trend will continue. Facebook is being recommended by multiple analysts on BNN just given the number of daily users , the value of advertising on its platform and having Instagram for younger users . Today they received some negative news . Instagram founders quit FB . Their shares are expected to take a beating today….

Panama – Buenaventura

Panama – Buenaventura

I had a chance to be in Panama City recently and I wanted to visit a beachside resort while there . A beachside resort with strong wifi . My wifi requirement ruled out traditionally famous places for good beaches in Panama like Pear Islands and San Blas Islands ! I am not much for rustic accommodations. I ended up at the hotel in Buenaventura. Buenaventura is an exclusive gated beachside community in Panama. About two hour drive from Panama City…

Daily Trading Analysis- September 18, 2018

Looks like the oversea markets did well today. I am currently a hold on most of my positions. I will have to wait out the month of September which is not fun . September historically has been a losing month for the markets . Based on the recent performance of my holdings I been thinking about changing my approach to short term investment. I have historically invested in distressed stocks or stocks on pull back . From October I am…
