Where To Eat In Lima ?
We spend about three days in Lima and had a chance to try many different restaurants. From top ranked restaurants to simple chains . Here are mini reviews on the places we have tried .
We were craving chinese one day and decided to give this restaurant a try . Lima has a Chinese population and it shows . The dishes we had were delicious. I was a very big fan of the dumplings. We had a chocolate cake for dessert and that was also excellent. Definitely recommend trying this place in Lima .
Affordable Options
We came across Javier Restaurant while we were exploring Barranco . We went here based on reviews and it did not disappoint. The views were stunning and the food comforting . Definitely recommend dropping by if you are in Barranco.
Javier Restaurant Barranco Lima Peru
We visited La Luchas Sangucheria restaurant when we dropped by Parque Kennedy. This is a famous chain in Lima . The food was good quality and compared to sandwich shops in the US . They also had a very efficient ordering system . Great option if you need something tasty and quick .
We dropped by La Mora based on a recommendation from a friend. It was a good recommendation. Great lattes and pastries. Worth taking an Uber !

We stayed at AC Hotel and had the breakfast there everyday .
It was included with our room . The breakfast had a lot
of good options and the coffee was good .
Expensive Options
We visited Central after seeing the restaurant on Chef’s Table . It was definitely an experience. Read more about it on this post . Go here if you want to try one of the top restaurants in the world and you can afford it . Don’t bother if you are looking for value for your money .
We had lunch at Maido and ordered a la carte . Everything we ate at Maido tasted incredible. I probably had the best dessert ever here . Read more about it on this post . If you want to splurge at one restaurant pick Maido . It was the best meal we had in all of Peru .
Astrid Y Gaston was the first meal we had in Peru and we were disappointed with it . Not a place we could recommend. Read more about it here .
