Constantine Chefs Menu
As part of our mission to try out all the restaurants on Blog TO’s top 100 places to try before you die we ended up at Constantine .
It serves food with Mediterranean flavours. Beautifully decorated with wonderful service.
We decided to try the Chef’s menu . That was about eight dishes for $75 per person.
There were positive and negative aspects to trying the chef’s menu .
The good :
We were able to try a variety of dishes to get a fuller sense for the different type of dishes the restaurant has to offer !
The bad :
It was too much food and it cost us more than what we would have typically spend at a restaurant like this .
Overall all the dishes were made with care and fresh ingredients.
We had 3 salads and one flat brad . All the salads were really good . My favourite was the kale salad . The flat bread with the three dipping sauce was also good .
For main we had a chicken dish , a fish dish , a rice dish and a potato dish .
I wasn’t a fan of the chicken or fish dish . Both didn’t have enough flavours and I felt the chicken could have been cooked better !
I really liked the rice and potato dishes .
We had one dessert . Since we were close to closing time the dessert chef had made the dessert and left . As such the dessert was cold !! It was delicious but could have been much better if it was hot !
Overall we had a good time . I wouldn’t go back in the near future .
