Crown Pastries is a popular middle Eastern Pastry shop. They have two locations. One in Scarborough and another in Mississauga. We usually drop by here for dessert if we had dinner near by .

To choose a few items from the number of choices available at the shop can be overwhelming!

Here are some recommendations:

Really good ones ( if you have a sweet tooth ) :

Basbousa – this is cake like and very tasty . One of our favourite dishes !

Baklava with Pistachios- this is my favourite type of Baklava at this store .

Baklava with Nutella – A good mix of tradition and fusion. The outer shell is delicious and you can’t go wrong with Nutella.

Some not so favourite items:

Baklava with Walnuts- I wasn’t a fan of the walnut filling .

Coconut Mafroukeh with mixed nuts – this wasn’t sweet enough for my taste and I wasn’t a fan of the coconut.

Will definitely going back to try some additional items on the menu .
