I been to the Florida Keys before and fell in love with it .

I had a two day stopover in Miami and I decided to do a day trip to the Keys !

The drive to the keys is about three and a half hours . Longer with traffic.

I love driving through the Keys all the way till the south most point of the US . It is incredibly scenic .

This was a solo trip . Just me , my music and the open road 😊.

After about four hours I reached Key West . I dropped by the beach , enjoyed some delicious food and drinks , explored and than hit the road again for my drive back to Miami !

Blue Heaven

This restaurant had came up on my searches for good restaurants in the Keys . I dropped by here for a late lunch . The grilled cheese was delicious. Their banana bread was incredible! That alone made my four hour drive worth it .

The Salty Angler

This is a bar I dropped by because I had to pee ! Due to their no purchase no pee rule I had to buy an alcoholic beverage. It was very well made and the bartender was really friendly. She even gave me a lower price on my drink . Will definitely go back .

Key West is uniquely beautiful. Even though I drove eight hours to spend a few hours there it was definitely worth it . Highly recommend visiting and staying a few days . A city filled with soul and stories.

I didn’t stay and watch the sunset but I did catch it on my review mirror. It is am incredibly beautiful Sunset ! Just as beautiful as the Santorini Sunset .

Overall a city I would never get tired of visiting!
