Peter Luger Steak House Review – New York
On One of my recent trips to New York we ended up at Peter Luger in Brooklyn.
Peter Luger is a legendary steak house in New York. One of my friends is a big fan of steak. Being the kind soul that I am, I agreed to go along. I dont eat steak – but I usually tag along with my friends to steak houses. I have had some really great non steak dishes in such places.
Peter Luger was founded in 1887 . Always fun to visit restaurants with deep History ! It is a white cloth restaurant with no nonsense service. We had an Irish waiter and I just loved listening to him talk . They even cut your food for you and serve the dishes – which I have not experienced anywhere else.
I had the salmon and it was really fresh. The restaurant believes in cooking your food and doesn’t add much sauces other than slat and pepper. Because the food is such good quality you still enjoy the overall experience. There is a rigorous process to choosing their steaks. You can read about it here.
Highly recommend this place if you are into steak !
