Torre De Palma Wine Hotel Review
On our way to Porto from Algarve we stayed one night at Torre De Palma Wine Hotel . We wanted to break up our drive but this turned out to be a lovely hotel !
This hotel is an isolated property in the middle of the Alentejo wine region . Perfect for when you need a quiet getaway .
On top of being a stunning property with excellent food options the hotel had many things to offer :
- The hotel is beautifully designed and painted in the colours of the region – yellow and white .
- In the courtyard there are orange trees filled with oranges ( such a joy to look at )
- The rooms and common areas are well decorated in a farmhouse chic design. I loved all the details .
- The hotel has two pools . One outdoor and one indoor . The indoor one you can book for a private swim .
- There is a horse stable and you can go for horse rides .
- There is a winery attached to the hotel as well as wine tasting
- There is an olive orchard with the hotel . You can also buy olive oil from them .
- The hotel has large pine trees that gives you Tuscany vibes when you walk around near the pool area .
- The hotel has a full restaurant tied to it and a bar for casual meals . The food was exceptional.
- There is a rooftop- where you can catch the sunset and get a bird eye view of the region .
- You can also use their bikes to explore the region or go on hikes .
We only stayed for one day but we had such a lovely time . We didn’t get to fully experience everything the property had to offer but these are the things we did :
- Walked around the property- orange trees , Tuscan trees , olive trees etc
- Watched sunset with wine on the roof top
- Private swim at the indoor pool
- Three delicious meals – lunch , dinner & breakfast with wine
- Explored the common area and bought olive oil
Overall we had a wonderful time at this property and will definitely stay here again . Highly recommend a stay here if you are in the region or needs a getaway fro
