Summary :

• Highly recommend lunch or dinner at Peshwari . Must try dish is the grilled Paneer . Best I have ever tasted .

After a morning of sightseeing in the Chennai Heat we were ready for lunch . Husband insisted on having lunch at ITC . He has trust issues eating non veg in India outside of hotels and large restaurants!

We ended up at Peshwari . A grill within ITC Grand Chola . Since we had gone to the temple that morning we had to eat vegetarian food . A rule some Hindus follows and one which my mom had instilled in me since I was a little !

We ordered paneer , a curry and some rotti . The paneer was the most fluffiest and softest paneer I have ever ate in my life . I don’t know how they made it but it left quite an impression!

Highly recommend trying the paneer dish if you ever visit Peshwari at ITC Grand Chola ! It is in a class of its own . The other dishes were okay . Will definitely go back for the paneer next time we are in Chennai .
