Luxurious Hotel In Venice – St. Regis Venice
Venice is full of exquisite luxurious hotels . We were fortunate to experience one such hotel – St.Regis Venice .
Service
The service at the St.Regis Venice stood out above anything else. We checked into the hotel a week after it opened . Everything was brand new and the staff was incredible. Dressed in classic uniforms they were always around to help with anything you needed !
One of the coolest part about the St.Regis is you get a butler ! We didn’t use ours much but it was nice to have that option .
Some examples of great service we experienced:
* When we initially checked into the room there was a leak ( brand new hotel – growing pains ) . They upgraded us to an incredible suite !
* On our last night we got stuck in the elevator for 20 minutes ( growing pains again) . They didn’t charge us for the room for that night , they gave us a private boat ride to the airport , private van transfer from the boat to the airport terminal and the director of operations personally made sure we were taken care of ! It took away the negative feelings of being stuck in an elevator and left you at awe of the type of service they were able to provide!
Common Areas
The St.Regis common areas are filled with tasteful art pieces , tons of fresh flowers and vibrant furniture . Many of the art pieces were custom made for the hotel . It adds to the overall charm of Venice !
Suite
We were given an upgrade to a suite . Our first room had a slight water leak ( brand new growing pains ) . Our suite was beautiful! It had a view of the Grand Canal , sitting areas and a large bathroom with an incredible tub ( I am a sucker for bath tubs ) . So lucky to get such a spacious suite in Venice . I have heard rooms tend to be on the smaller size in Venice . Seems like we lucked out.
Breakfast
Breakfast was included with our room . It was a buffet breakfast with a large selection . Food was delicious and I liked the China it was served on . Beautiful patten . There is an outdoor area as well where you can watch the boats pass by . It was something I looked forward to each morning.
Conclusion
Overall the St.Regis was a great choice for a luxurious stay in Venice ! It is also relatively new so the furnishings are lovely . The service is one of the best I have experienced all around the world . Highly recommend for a luxurious stay in Venice .
