As part of our Colosseum Rome tour we had entrance and an introductory guide to The Roman Forum and Palatine Hill .
Both are less than five minute walk from the Colosseum. If you are visiting the Colosseum do make an effort to see both . Historically significant ancient ruins .
Roman Forum
The Forum is nothing but a rectangular area with some surviving ancient buildings. You can see buildings from different era of history !
This area was the heart of Ancient Rome for centuries.

The forum was filled with a large number of historically significant ruins . We spend a few hours walking around and thinking about what life must have been like 100s of years ago .

We did a mini hike to get on top of the Palatine hill . We didn’t see the staircase !

We spend a few hours between 11 am to 2 pm in August! Exhausted at the end of it but definitely worth visiting. Rich in history!
Definitely a must do in Rome !
