I didn’t realize how scenic Arizona drives were till I got there .

During our five days of road trips, we did some beautiful drives ! Some unintentionally!

Route 89 Arizona

Route 89 between Flagstaff and Grand Canyon East entrance was the most beautiful drive we did in all of Arizona!!

Early morning drive – Before Sunrise

You will also be taking this route if you are going to Antelope Canyon! We were lucky enough to drive on it two times !

Once the Sun had come up – closer to Page Arizona

Late Afternoon Drive Back To Flagstaff

Flagstaff to Sedona

We took another highway from Route 89 to Sedona. It was an uphill mountain route and very scenic and fun to drive .

Sedona is known for its trees and red hills . You can see some photos below .

I-17 South

Leaving Sedona we took I-17 South to get to Scottsdale

My favourite part about this route was all the cactus along the way . There is just something so very fascinating about cactus !

There were a few more drives we did that I don’t have photos of or we did the drive in the dark .

Overall Arizona is an incredibly scenic state and perfect for road trips ! I loved the multiple different drives we were able to do !
