Siem Reap Restaurant Reviews
I was in Siem Reap Cambodia for two days and three nights .
The restaurants I had a chance to try during this time are :
1. Lok Lak Courtyard Siem Reap – This was the restaurant at the resort we stayed at . We ate here many times . Simply because the food was amazing. A few times we went to some of the top ranked restaurants in Siem Reap but the food at these places didn’t come close to what we had at Lok Lak . The food is authentic and everything on the menu is excellent including dessert .

Lok Lak – Breakfast Buffet
2 . Mahob Khmer Cuisine- This was one of the top ranked restaurants Siem Reap . We went here for a late lunch . This restaurant is in a former governor ‘s residence . Charming Woden house surrounded by a beautiful garden .
The food was good and the atmosphere very traditional. I still prefer Lok Lak .

3. The Dining Room At Park Hyatt- This hotel is the fanciest place I visited in all of Cambodia. Beautifully decorated. Every detail attended to . We had dinner here on our last night. It was the most expensive meal we had in all of Cambodia. The food was unimpressive. The cocktails were great . I was left with the impression I would have been better off eating at Lok Lak at my hotel .
Would not recommend for dinner but definitely worth visiting to explore the architecture. There is even a beautiful 100 year old Bayan Tree outside and you have the option of eating outside. Great place to have some cocktails and bites .

Overall Khmer Cuisine is delicious and full of flavour. As you can see the more expensive doesn’t necessarily mean better. Do your research and enjoy !
