Ritz Carleton Bali Review
On our trip to Bali we decided to spilt our time such that we have exposure to both the mountain area ( Ubud ) and beach area ( Nusa Dua ).
We choose Nusa Dua since this area is home to some of the best resorts in all of Bali .
Being SPG members we decided to stay at the Ritz Carleton in Nusa Dua .
The resort is beautifully designed and the service is incredible !
We were upgraded to a 1600 square feet suite with a huge bedroom , family area , dining area and a walk out balcony.
The lobby is located at the top of a cliff and most of the suites are located down below near the beach . Some suites even had a walkout pool .
There are cart shuttles that takes you to your rooms or anywhere else on the resort.
Our room was incredible! When we got in, the bathtub was filled with flowers and we had welcome gifts . They also included complimentary straw bag , hat and slippers! Anything we requested was to taken care of right away regardless of the time of day ! Probably the best service I have experienced at a resort.
The pool and beach area again was beautifully designed! The beach you have to be conscious of the tides . When it is low tide it is hard to swim . High tide, it was perfect for swimming. The water is crystal clear . You just have to avoid seaweed area .
The pool is awesome. Surrounding the pool is plumeria trees ( my favourite flowers) . Right beside the pool are fully covered sun beds .
The Massage at the SPA was also one of the best massages we have ever had .
The food at the resort was not up to our taste . We ate a few times at the resort and was disappointed. Would recommend taking a Grab ( uber ) and trying other restaurants near by for food or ordering in .
Overall an incredible resort that I highly recommend. It is also more affordable in Bali vs Toronto. A great way to enjoy the Ritz experience at an affordable price .
