Ritz Carleton Bali Restaurants Review – Senses, Breezes and Bejana
If you are staying at Ritz Carleton Bali Resort chances are you want to be able to dine at the restaurants in the resort. Over our five day stay we tried multiple items from the room service menu , breakfast buffet at Senses , tapas at Breezes Tapas Lounge and dinner at the top ranked Bejana Indonesian Restaurant. Here is my review of each one :
Room Service
We ordered room service multiple times – mainly out of convenience. The food was well made and the service was impeccable. However the dishes lacked flavour that we had come to expect of Balinese food .
If you are looking for authentic flavour order take out or take a Grab to a local restaurant.
Breakfast Buffet at Senses
We went here on our first morning. It is costly as it is with all the resorts along the Nusa Dua stretch . There is a large amount of choices at the buffet . The one thing I found lacking is authentic Balinese food at the buffet . If you are not looking for Balinese food than the buffet is a good choice.
Breezes At Tapas Lounge
We like tapas so we decided to give the tapas restaurant a chance . We were disappointed with most of the tapa dishes . The only Tapa I liked was the croquettes. You are better off spending your money at an outside restaurant.
Bejana Indonesian Restaurant
Given we were not that impressed with most of the restaurant options at the resort we were a bit hesitant to try another restaurant at the hotel . However Bejana had really good reviews so we decided to give it another chance . The appetizers at Bejana and satays was really good . We weren’t terribly impressed with the main entrees.
Overall if you are looking for authentic flavours of Bali avoid the restaurants at the resort . There are many local options available. If you are also sticking to a budget avoid the resort food – the prices are on the higher end . If you want well made food and great service the options at the resort are good.
