Marina Bay Sands Hotel – Singapore
One of my bucket list item was to swim at the infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore. The highest located infinity pool in the world !
In order to access the infinity pool you need to be a guest at the hotel . The nightly rate for a room at the time we were going was $500 SGD a night !
The cost of the bucket list item was too high! So I chooses to not stay there .
I did read that you can visit the rooftop restaurant/bar for the same views . So we took the elevator to the top floor to go to the rooftop bar . We did this during day time and at night time .
The views from the top are incredible. It gives you a different perspective. You can see everything from there . The Singapore Harbour, the gardens by the bay, super groove trees, skyline etc .
You can also see the pool close up . If you are cost conscious this is a great alternative!
A drink at the bar is about $25 SGD but you don’t have to get a drink. You can just go up and look .
The rooftop also has Plumeria trees which I just loved .
If you are going up at night time, dress nicely or else they won’t let you in . This is mainly for men . Need long pants and a shirt .
Highly recommend the top of the Marina Sands Rooftop for views . Best part, you can do it completely free !
