The W At New Orleans
We stayed at the Westin in New Orleans . It is a beautiful hotel with a stunning view of the Mississippi. There is another hotel in New Orleans that I adored more.
One of my friends who has been to New Orleans before took us to The W Hotel’s courtyard. It was such a charming courtyard. When we went, it was slightly cold – so the courtyard was completely empty. We hang around by the fire and slept on the cabanas for some time. Anyone can drop by the courtyard – not only guests. The hotel is in the French Quarter – two blocks from Bourbon Street. I highly recommend dropping by the courtyard and hanging out there if you have an hour to spare. See photos below.
Another amazing feature of the W is the restaurant located within the hotel . The restaurant is called Sobou . Sobou was created by the Commander’s Family of Restaurants. It is a relatively young restaurant and not known to the masses as much . Because of this you may be able to get a reservation at this restaurant even last minute ! The food and the cocktails were amazing ! They were very unique and very well thought out. We were celebrating a birthday – so they gave us balloons for our table and free dessert ! Our dessert was bread pudding – probably one of the best dessert I have ever had . It took them twenty minutes to make the dessert. This place had the best cocktails in New Orleans. The waitress was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would give this restaurant five stars and highly recommend it ! Some photos below of the restaurant and the food !
