Sunday Blues !
Today is not officially a Sunday – but lately I been regretting Sundays with a passion. The day before the start of the work week .
I wanted to find a way to make myself feel better about Sundays.
I googled for Ted talks about Sunday night blues – I always find Ted talks helps me feel better whenever I am feeling down.
I came across this Ted talk called : A Cure for the Sunday Night Blues by Maneesh Goyal
Basically Maneesh is saying change your career when you dread Sundays ! Easier said than done. That is a larger thought process than the one I wanted to tackle on a Sunday !! It was an interesting talk to listen to. But it wasn’t what I was looking for to make myself feel instantly better.
Instead – I send out some emails to my team to prepare for the week and mentally prepared myself for the coming up week. I think that made me feel a bit better. Other things that usually helps me is preparing my out fit for the week , and packing my lunch. I definitely have to rethink what I want to do with my life. I do want to wake up each day excited to go to work and make an impact. Perhaps that will chase away the Sunday night blues !
