Santorini Oia Sunset
Santorini sunsets are world famous ! The town of Oia is the best place to watch the sunset from ! We stayed in Oia for three days as such were lucky enough to see the sunsets for three days !
About two hours before the sunset people will start gravitating toward one end of the city to find the best places to watch the sunset from. Even one hour before the sunset you can still manage to find places to watch the sunset from. The earlier you go the better and more comfortable your position will be ! The entire city fills with people closer to sunset time ( from cruises / day tours etc ) , so be prepared for crowds .
Once the sun starts setting do take photos but also take time to enjoy the stunning view outside of your camera/phone lens as well ! Sharing some of my sunset photos below .
If you are not a fan of crowds – I would recommend a sunset cruise . There were many small sailboat cruises that were out on the bay to catch the sunset.
