Shawarmas are another fast food option and is readily available in Toronto.

Two are from Blog TO’s 100 Essential Restaurants To Try Before You Die List :

1. Shawarma Empire- Decent Shawarma but not spicy enough for my taste . If you are into really spicy or strong flavours I would recommend trying other places .

2. Ghadir Meat – The Shawarma here won my taste buds . Delicious and the availability of good hot sauce made it much better. Will definitely go back here .

3 . Osmow’s – This is a stable with multiple locations. You need to make sure you get your spice level correct . If you make it too spicy you cannot consume it . One of my comfort foods !

4. The Halal Guys – my love for this place started in New York and continued to Toronto. So glad they have opened a location in Toronto. An ongoing favourite . I find lately it has become too commercialized but still good .

My favourite among the four is Ghadir Meat ! Still continuing to explore and will update list .
