Discover Toronto Downtown – Walking Along Waterfront
When I visit a new city I usually search for walking path Recommendations by others so I know where to start from to see the main attractions of the city . I will share my walking path Recommendations in Toronto to help others .
If you are getting out at union station you can walk down Bay Street toward the lake ( South ) to get to the waterfront. If you drove, find Bay and Front intersection and start walking toward the Lake ( South ) .
Before you start your walking you can snap a photo of the RBC Capital Markets building on Bay or Brookstreet place ( inside ) .
When you reach the end of Bay you have arrived at a park along the waterfront. On one side is the ferry terminal and the other side leads you on the waterfront walkway.
You can follow the path along the water for sometime. Along the path there are benches for you to relax and interesting views for photos !
You can see the CN tower and the city skyline and boats on the water .
After a point there are restaurants with views looking over the water . Perfect for a drink if you need a break !
There is also an outdoor theatre . You can walk for quite some time or turn back like I did ! It is a very scenic walk and I highly recommend it for first time visitors to the city !
